Skiing Vallee Blanche 22nd of Jan

We have had a lot more snow in Chamonix and the Mont Blanc range the last few days and the skiing has been fantastic. These photos are from skiing one of the routes down Vallee Blanche called the Grands Envers, this morning. This is one of the steeper and more challenging routes down the Vallee Blanche and is for experienced off-piste skiers only. Winter course calendar

Great to see some more snow coming! Chamonix Experience has programmed the following courses to run. You can book the Off-Piste course, the Ski Touring course and Ski Mont Blanc with or without accommodation. Please enquire for price.

Off-Piste course 26th to 31st of January. 6 days guiding and instruction. For anybody who has just started skiing off-piste and wants to learn technique as well as mountain awareness.

Crevasse rescue course 31st of January. 3 places left.

Avalanche Awareness course 4th of February. 5 places left.

Off-Piste course 9th to 14th of March. 6 days guiding and instruction. For anybody who has just started skiing off-piste and wants to learn technique as well as mountain awareness.

Off-Piste course 23rd to 28th of March. 6 days guiding and instruction. For anybody who has just started skiing off-piste and wants to learn technique as well as mountain awareness.

Ski Touring course with a 4000m summit 23rd to 28th of  March. 6 days guiding with 1 night in a refuge. For anybody who wants to start or has just started ski touring and wants to learn technique as well as mountain awareness and explore the Mont Blanc region.

Haute Route 29th of March to 4th of April. 7 days guiding with 5 nights in mountain refuges. For anybody with previous ski touring experience.

Ski Mont Blanc 20th to 25th of April. 6 days guiding with 2 nights in mountain refuges. For expert skiers with previous ski mountaineering experience.

Vallee Blanche Info

Ski the Vallee BlancheThanks to all the early snow we had in November and December we have been able to ski the Vallee Blanche since before Christmas, which is exceptionally early. We seem to be getting more snow towards the end of this week according to the forecast and that should only improve the conditions.

Winter Sale – Off-Piste Course!

As a reaction to the current exchange rate and the overall economy Chamonix Experience is offering a sale on our 6 day Off-Piste course. From the normal price of 1995€, it has now been reduced to 1850€.

This course is all-inclusive with half board accommodation at the comfortable Yeti Lodge in Argentiere. This includes 6 days with a fully qualified IFMGA guide and ski instructor, as well as lift pass and local transport. This course is suitable for you who are in the beginning of your off-piste skiing career. It will improve your off-piste ski technique as well as teach you to be safe in the mountains. We have the options of skiing in the Chamonix valley as well as in Courmayeur and Helbronner on the Italian side Smiles on the Italian Vallee Blanche of Mont Blanc, all great off-piste areas.
Next course with places still available is running the 26th to the 31st of January.
Later course dates are: 9-14 February, 9-14 March and 23-28 March.
