Haute Route Ski Tour

Starting in Chamonix, the heart of the Mont Blanc range and ending up in Zermatt in the shadow of one of the most famous mountains in the Alps, the Matterhorn, the Haute Route is a journey that every ski touring enthusiast  should undertake at least once in their lives.

It is one of the most spectacular high mountain itineraries in the world, winding its way over remote alpine passes, traversing glaciers and through Alpine villages. There are constantly changing views of Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Grand Combin and Monte Rosa.

We allow seven days for our guided Haute Route ski trip. This allows for a warm-up day with your guide in Chamonix before setting off, and plenty of slack in the schedule should bad weather intervene. This also makes for a much more relaxing and enjoyable trip. Our Chamonix – Zermatt Haute Route itinerary follows the standard route via Verbier. You will be staying in refuges for all five nights of the trip, so you will only be carrying your personal gear plus food and water required for each day.

Contact the Chamonix Experience office (+33 4 50 54 09 36) to book!
