Haute Route Ski

THE Classic Chamonix to Zermatt ski tour

Early morning start from the Dix refugeChamonix Experience’s Haute Route consists of 7 days ski touring. Our Chamonix – Zermatt Haute Route itinerary follows the standard route via Verbier and has been designed to ensure stays at the most comfortable refuges along the way.

To complete the Chamonix – Zermatt Haute Route ski tour, you need to have a good level of fitness, be conpetent off piste skier and previous experience of ski touring, so that you are familiar with the gear and techniques.

Should you have any doubts about your ability or lack the required previous experience, we recommend that you do Chamonix Experience 8 day Ski Touring course first. We would also recommend taking our one-day Avalanche Awareness and Crevasse Rescue courses to give you  a better understanding of the environment through which you will be travelling on the Haute Route.

Haute Route skiChamonix Experience Haute Route is all-inclusive. There are NO HIDDEN COSTS such as taxis, lifts or huts added on to your expenses during the trip. Everything is taken care of by your guide so you can just relax and enjoy this fantastic ski touring. The only thing you should budget for is lunches and drinks on a daily basis. Your guide will make sure there is time to pick up what you need during the trip.
