Ice Climbing
Skiing and ski-based activities are not the only winter adventure activities Chamonix and its surroundings has to offer. The cold temperatures from December to February freeze the many waterfalls in the valley turning them into an ice climber’s paradise. These fantastic sculptures provide climbing for all standards. Constantly varying conditions change the nature of the climbs on a daily basis, supplying endless variety. Should the conditions not be so favourable here, we are only a short drive away from Val de Cogne in Italy and Trient in Switzerland.
Ice climbing is not a sport you can do in big groups. Ideally you should only be one or maximum two people with one guide to get the most out of it. Our guide service offers 100% flexibility and our knowledgeable staff and guides will put together an agenda tailored to your specific requirements.
Perhaps you have your own objective, please feel free to contact us to discuss routes you would like to do or skills that you would like to learn. We would be pleased to assist.
