Yeti Lodge in WinterMountain activities make a great theme for corporate events, and Chamonix Experience can organise varied and interesting  programmes suitable for all types of event – from hospitality and incentive programmes to team building. Based in Argentière in the Chamonix valley, Chamonix Experience is able to offer you a wide variety of activities in a spectacular mountain setting at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe. The Yeti Lodge is a perfect venue for groups if you are looking for chalet-type of accommodation, and can be fully catered at any time of year.

Skiing, Snowboarding or TelemarkSnowboarder

On or off-piste with mountain guides or instructors depending on level. We can cater for everything from complete beginners to advanced skiers/boarders. Discover the ski areas of the Chamonix Valley or with just a short drive through the Mont Blanc tunnel you can discover Courmayeur and Helbronner which are now included in the Chamonix lift pass. Why not have a day in France or Italy? We can book great restaurants where your groups can rendez-vous for lunch.

Combine with: For non skiers in the group this can be combined with Snowshoeing, and groups can meet up for lunch. Suitable areas are Les Houches, Grands Montets and Le Tour.


 

Skier on the Petit Envers route of the Vallee BlancheSki the Vallee Blanche

At 22km long with a vertical descent of over 2,500m, the Valley Blanche is one of the longest off-piste itineraries in the world and a must-do if you have the right ski level to participate. You must be able to ski any red run without difficulty. Picnic lunch or a stop at the Requin refuge can be arranged on the way down.

Traverse of the Vallee Blanche

Glacier Walks

The lifts in the Chamonix valley give us quick access to magnificent glaciers and high mountain scenery. Accompanied by a mountain guide and equipped with boots, crampons, harness and ice axe you can walk on the glacier looking into the deep crevasses and up to towering ice pinnacles around you.

Mer de GlaceThere are two options for this - The Mer de Glace, an easier route and at lower altitude.  This location also offers the opportunity to try ice climbing. Or go to The Aiguille du Midi and traverse the Vallee Blanche – requiring a slightly higher level of fitness.
All required gear can be hired.

Avalanche and Transceiver training

Although it may sound dull,  this is a great team building exercise, a lot of fun and fascinating! You will learn about avalanche risks and causes, learning how to use transceivers and search for victims. This can be done with or without skis.

Snow-laden branches

Snowshoeing

If bombing down the slopes is not your thing, this is a beautiful and relaxing way to explore the winter landscape of the Alps. Accompanied by a guide you can snowshoe in the high mountain environment at the Helbronner, or go for a quiet stroll in the forests of Vallorcine or Les Houches.

Panoramic Helicopter FlightsMont Blanc range

There is little more breathtaking than flying over the jagged peaks of the Mont Blanc range in a helicopter. Take-off is from the Helipad in Argentiere and flights last from 10-30 min, budget dependent. You can fly over the summit of Mont Blanc but unfortunately you cannot land to say you have been there!

Canyoning

Fully eqipped with wetsuits and helmets you abseil, swim, jump and wade your way down a mountain water stream. All gear and transport is normally provided by the guides.

Via ferrata day at Plain JouxVia Ferrata 

Via Ferrata is a safe and more accessible form of climbing. It is not technically difficult but is lots of fun. You will follow a route on a rock face equipped with ladders, steps, cables and suspension bridges. Wearing harnesses and a special sling, you will be safely attached to a cable at all times. A brand new Via Ferrata route has opened just outside the Chamonix valley in the quaint village of Plaine Joux.

Mountain view from Grand Hotel du MontenversDinner at Grand Hotel du Montenvers

The Hotel Montenvers, situated at nearly 2000m in the heart of the mountains above the Mer de Glace and with a view of famous peaks like Le Dru, is one of the most unique dining spots imaginable. Departing Chamonix at 7pm you will travel up the mountain by the historical Montenvers rack and pinion railway. While you enjoy the spectacular views during the 25 minute trip you will be served a glass of Champagne, and arrive at the Montenvers Hotel where a three or four course dinner will be waiting. Many writers, mountaineers and adventurers have written history in this awe-inspiring building. At around midnight the train returns to Chamonix.
