Ice Climbing

Skiing and ski-based activities are not the only winter adventure activities Chamonix has to offer.  The cold temperatures from December to February freeze the many waterfalls in the valley turning them into an ice climber’s paradise. These fantastic sculptures provide climbing for all standards. Constantly varying conditions change the nature of the climbs on a daily basis, supplying endless variety.

For you who would like to try this thrilling sport we have put together a two day beginners course below.

If you have already done some ice climbing and would like more flexibility and to do more advanced climbing – perhaps you have your own objective – then we also offer a private guiding service. Whether you want to learn or just maximise your time in the mountains, our guides will put together an agenda tailored to your specific requirements.Cascade Lillaz in Val de Cogne

All climbing equipment is provided, so all you need to bring is warm clothing and a rucksack.
