Pourquoi Chamex

Martina, Elizabeth, Russell and all at Chamonix Experience,
What can I say except you have all been fantastic; I had the time of my life.
All the guides and the chalet staff were so professional and courteous which allowed me and Gary to concentrate on the job at hand; in fact all of the nuances that would normally be associated with an adventure holiday were taken from us.You have a great brand and I can see firsthand why Chamonix Experience and Himalayan Experience are recognised as industry leaders in this field.Gary and I WILL be returning for Mont Blanc and also wish to enrol in next year’s trip to the North Col (please send details).

Also for me one of the highlights of my holiday was to meet Russell, what a great guy who I think really optimises the modern day, responsible expedition leader who primary objective is the safety of his clients.

I shall remain a loyal client from this day forth even if it costs me my marriage!!!!!!

Special thanks to Walter, Sebastian, Simon, Philippe, David, Gemma and of course Sharon.

Kindest regards,

Nathan Calcott and Gary Fuller

Thank you so much for arranging my trip, and helping me out in Argentière. I had a wonderful stay, and did summit Mt. Blanc. James is a wonderful guide, and I felt very safe and comfortable with him.

Thank you for the excellent week we had with Chamonix Experience on the Mont Blanc course. From start to finish it was very professional. The guides, Dave and Octavio, the chalet, the course, the fellow climbers and the good attention by Martina and Elizabeth all added to the enjoyment.
Would we recommend Chamonix Experience to others? Absolutely. Gran Paradiso was memorable and has strengthened the desire to do Mont Blanc. We plan to be back next summer for another attempt at Mont Blanc, weather permitting.
Kind regards,

Gordon Harrower
6 Day Mont Blanc course, August 2007, diverted to Gran Paradiso due to weather

We wanted to drop you a note to thank you very much for helping us sort our trip up Mont Blanc last week.
We can’t thank you enough and praise the approach of Yannick and Phillipe: They encouraged and advised us while essentially just appearing part of our own group.
You’ll probably know that we didn’t actually make the summit due to the weather, but that’s ok and was the right decision. There’s an expression in English that “discretion is the better part of valour”, which means that decision making is most important. We are happy that we all made the right decisions. For me (I work in Olympic sport) the analogy is that there can only ever be 1 winner, so in order to take part you have to truly enjoy the journey - we really did. My girlfriend works in media and will be taking some of our photos and video clips and making up a montage. We’ll send you a copy over for your enjoyment (and if Chamex ever want to show anyone), so will be in touch again soon.
But in the meantime thanks again for your help and best wishes for the rest of summer.

Good morning from San Francisco. Just wanted to thank you and your great staff for making our visit a memorable experience. You all did a great job making our stay first class. We had a really great trip and will savor the memories for years to come.

Just a short note to thank you for organizing a brilliant trip for James and me. I was immensely impressed by the professionalism of both Dave and Sebastian and I shall be most grateful if you could pass on to them our thanks for looking after us, being so thoughtful with regards to arranging alternative climbing when the weather went against us and for providing us with the necessary “encouragement” when the going got a bit tough.
Also many thanks to Gemma and Sharon for looking after us in the chalet. We will see what state my old body is in next year and just maybe give it another crack - although I shall certainly take Dave’s advice and attempt it in three days rather than two days. Have a great summer.
Best regards,

Greetings, good people! Just wanted to say thanks again for arranging the trip up Mont Blanc — as usual, the pain has been forgotten and the memories are all rosy. Hope we can cook up another adventure one of these days. Anyhow, I’m now keen on a wintertime visit to Chamonix!
Best regards,

3 Day Mont Blanc course, July 2007

Just wanted to drop a line and say thanks again for a great day last week. I really enjoyed it, learnt a lot and came away feeling a bit more restored to climbing than I had been at the beginning of the week.
Great suggestions Martina, and excellent teaching Octavio, will recommend the company heartily! Do hope you get to enjoy the rest of the climbing season. I am already jealous as I came back to grey cold UK, but the sun is shining today, and there’s a plan to do a few days climbing in Lundy, an island in the Bristol channel with great sea cliff climbing, so hopefully I can practice leading more confidently. Perhaps see you next year, or sooner, if my plan to get a job in geneva works out! Thanks again.
Bye for now,

Hi Martina,
We all arrived back in the UK safe and sound. Thank you so very much for an extremely enjoyable weekend. Though we didn’t summit we all found the experience extremely challenging and rewarding with the enthusiasm and expertise of both Paul and Eric adding tremendous value to the endeavour.
I’m sure there will be another opportunity very soon!

Smiles despite the effort! Just a quick line to say thanks very much for all your help on our trip last week. Even though we didn’t get up Mont Blanc we still had a fabulous time & were really impressed with the Cham Ex & KE set ups.
Please pass on our thanks to Gemma & Yves, particularly Yves as we have just had the photos back & he did a brilliant job! Hope the weather was kind to David & his group & they managed to get up Mont Blanc.
Please can you keep our details on file as we would hope to come back next year to have another go at it!!
Thanks again, all the best,

Hi Elizabeth,
Kim and I wanted to send our thanks for all the help you gave us in our recent Mont Blanc adventure, these thanks also extend to Pete who was not just a very informative and professional guide but also a very nice bloke!
It is nice when a trip like this is made hassle-free by the efforts of people like yourself, so many times nowadays you get companies that are willing to promise you the earth for your trip, then once they have your money, ease off and let things fumble along, I’m glad to say that this experience was not like that at all.
I will have no hesitation in not only recommending you to others but also to use you again if we have another trip that requires services like yours!
Many thanks again to all. PS I know that we never got that drink to you, but I haven’t forgotten!!!!
