Insurance
We highly recommend a cancellation and curtailment insurance to all our clients in case of last-minute travel changes or injuries.
In addition, it is the client’s responsibility to make sure that they have satisfactory insurance cover for all activities that are to be undertaken. This should include helicopter rescue, repatriation and hospitalisation costs in case of an accident.
Chamonix Experience can arrange a mountain rescue insurance called Sport Assistance Card (SAF). This costs 60€ per year from required start date and covers you worldwide for most mountain activities up to 6000m. Please note: this is not a travel insurance and does not cover any cancellation charges. Enquire at the Chamonix Experience office for the insurance policy’s details.
