Ski Mont-Blanc

Join our Guided Mont Blanc Ski Tour and summit the world-famous Mont Blanc on a 3-day ski mountaineering expedition, led by fully qualified and experienced UIAGM mountain guides.

Experience a Guided Mont Blanc Ski Tour with Expert UIAGM Mountain Guides

Mont Blanc was first skied in 1930 by a Swiss mountain guide and has since become the ultimate goal for many ski mountaineers and backcountry skiers.

While most alpinists climb Mont Blanc in summer on foot using crampons, a Guided Mont Blanc Ski Tour allows you to reach the summit of Western Europe’s highest peak on skis, enjoying an unforgettable 3,000 m off-piste descent. Along the way, you’ll traverse spectacular glaciers, deep crevasses, and towering seracs.

This course is designed for experienced ski tourers with strong fitness and a passion for adventure. Your Chamex UIAGM mountain guide ensures a safe, once-in-a-lifetime experience few have the chance to enjoy.

Preparation is key to success on Mont Blanc. This 3-day guided course is ideal for those who have completed prior training and want the safety of a professional guide to reach the summit. We recommend altitude training to aid acclimatisation, either in Chamonix or elsewhere in the Alps.

Safety is our top priority. We maintain a 1:2 guide-to-client ratio, and our experience in mountain rescue (PGHM Chamonix) equips us to manage the risks of high mountain expeditions.

The traditional route takes the Refuge des Grands Mulets, starting from the Plan de l’Aiguille lift station (2,310 m) and traversing the Bossons Glacier to the refuge (3,051 m), perched on a rocky outcrop in the heart of this imposing glacier. Your guide will adapt the itinerary according to weather, snow conditions, and the group’s experience level.

If you feel that further skills are required, join our ski mountaineering course. We also offer intermediate level summits, such as the Gran Paradiso.
