The Tour du Mont Blanc, or TMB, is a classic long-distance Alpine walk. About 170KM long, it circles the entire Mont Blanc massif. The paths lead through parts of France, Italy and Switzerland passing through high mountain passes, stunning Alpine landscapes and picturesque villages and towns. You will enjoy views of the majestic Alpine 4000m peaks, observe the wild Alpine fauna and flora and taste the traditional local cuisine.
There are many variants of the itinerary, which can accommodate hikers of all levels. Plentiful accommodation is available along the route, which allows the distance to be broken to segments to fit hikers of different fitness levels. The accommodation is mostly basic with mixed sex dormitories but some have private rooms available. The rule is that earlier you book your trip; more accommodation choices there will be available.
There are option for 3 - 4 days half TMB either from Chamonix to Courmayeur or from Courmayeur to Chamonix.
The entire cycle can be completed in 6 - 12 days, depending on fitness and how many sections you wish to skip by a taxi transfer.
We will organise transport of your luggage along the trip so you can enjoy hiking with a light daypack only.

Please contact us for a custom made itinerary. We will create the program according to your previous trekking experience, your fitness level (are you a weekend hiker or a trail runner?) and your holiday schedule (how many days would you like to walk with us?).
The Tour du Mont Blanc is physically demanding trek due the terrain and the length of the trip.
You have to be happy to hike for 5 - 7 hours per day for consecutive days.
There are significant climbs and descents on the way (from 700vertical meters).
This is not recommended as your first trek. You need to have completed at least one hut-to-hut trek before signing up on the Tour du Mont Blanc.
