Director and owner of Chamonix Experience, Sébastien is a UIAGM mountain guide, ski guide, French qualified ski instructor and an active climber.
He started his professional career as a PGHM mountain rescuer in Chamonix, before making the decision to become a full-time mountain guide. At the age of 38, Sébastien has over 22 years' experience in the mountains and has led several expeditions worldwide.
A few years ago Sébastien launched his own company, World Wide Guiding (WWG). The company specialises in expeditions and has been several times to Nepal, Argentina, Kenya, North Pole, Kamchatcka, Jordan, Peru, Norway, Island, Canada.
While guiding, Sébastien has summited several peaks worldwide, such as Mount Everest in May 2011, and he continues to climb wherever clients want to go with him.
In 2011, during his expedition to Nepal with Kenton Cool, Sébastien met Russell Brice at EBC. The pair got on straight away, Sébastien’s energy and enthusiasm to mountain guiding and his love of Chamonix reminding Russell of himself at Sébastien’s age. Keen to ensure that Chamonix Experience had a bright future, Russell handed over the reins of the company to Sébastien later that year.
Aside from managing his companies, Sébastien continues to enjoy climbing new mountains and exploring. His passion for mountaineering has become the essence of Chamonix Experience. He channels all his time and energy into the company to ensure that it provides excellent courses, focusing on the best possible climbing and skiing adventures in the mountains.
